• The tallest Skyscraper in the World
• It has total of 57 elevators and 8 escalators with the capacity of 10-12 people per cabin and the double deck elevators are the fastest rising and descending elevators at up to 10m/s. All the double deck elevators are well equipped with LCD displays.
• The spire of Burj Khalifa consists of over 4,000 tons of structural steel and the central pinnacle pipe weighs 350 tons constructed from inside of the building. Interestingly, Burj Khalifa has over 26,000 glass panels which are used in the exterior cladding and this glass provides solar and thermal performance. These glass panels also serve as the anti-glare shield for the intense desert sun, extreme desert temperature and strong winds. More than 300 cladding specialists were brought from China during the construction and the space occupied by the glass covers is more than 174,000 sqm.

• Burj Khalifa also holds the world record for the highest installation of an aluminum and glass façade at a height of 512 meters.
